Nice setup, Ive also got a 2002 lincoln ls, but mines the V8 with the
factory alpine audio in it. Im planning on adding a pioneer fh-x700bt head
unit and 2 pioneer ts-w304r’s and a 1500 watt monoblock amp. But im worried
about finding a box that fits with the factory rear speaker box that comes
with the alpine system. Do you have that speaker deck? Would you mind
giving me the dimensions of your box?

Yeah I have an 02 V8 and for some reason my driver side front door has some
kind of distortion the speakers are like two weeks old.
Yes I installed everything myself, not hard at all, no it does not affect
the car negatively, the trunk rattles a little bit but you cannot hear the
rattle unless you are right in front of it, sounds great inside. Your setup
will sound nice, im gonna switch to Kenwood speakers soon too.
Norm i dont comment on stuff but since this seems to be a good video and
positive comments so far, I have all type S alpines in my doors, with a
alpine 4ch, a m1000 with two alpine type R’s in 2.5cu ft sealed. Alpine
like.. 9886 headunit with the ktu bluetooth. aprox 110 cu ft of dynamat. No
rattle, clean sounding bass. this car was ment to have a system in it

hey man did you install any of this yourself? has it effected the car in a
negative way? how does the LS take to rattling? Reason asking is I have a
kenwood 1800 watt amp, cap, kenwood 6×8 speakers, 2 mtx 10’s just sitting
there. I have the same thing 02 LS v6 and im wondering if I should install
it or sell the stuff off.
Yeah they have a pretty clear sound although my driver side speaker is
distorted for some reason, may be a loose wire idk. I would recommend
getting the Kenwood 6x8s because they are about half the price but can
reach double the peak power. I will be replacing mine with those soon.
