Damn, that’s talkin’ station you have there. Back around 1990 I bought a
70′ Rohn-25 tower for a $100. I put a 10′ mast at the top and ran my
barefoot HR2510 off it using a nice Turner Plus Three mic and man lemme
tell ya that was a talkin’ station! Now I’m stuck in a damn apartment and
have to hide a Solarcon antenna in a small oak tree a whopping 20′ off the
ground, a far-cry from the setup I once had. If you’ve still got a good
setup enjoy it while you can. You never know what can happen.
