IF YOU HAVE TO TRY AND TURN THE CAR ON 5-10 TIMES BEFORE IT STARTS THAT
MEANS YOU’RE NOT GETTING ANY PRESSURE TO THE INJECTORS, WHICH MEANS YOU
NEED TO REPLACE YOUR FUEL PUMP.

Dan Lavink says:

how can you tell if the fuel pump is bad? I have to turn the key 5-10 times
before it will eventually start. Then, after 10 to 20 seconds it stops
running. Please help. Need to get to work tomorrow haha

Marshall Janson says:

Good job dude. I’m havin’ some problems with starting. Not sure if it’s the
fuel pump yet. Investigation made. Thanks.

Stevil Cowans says:

Good job on showing where it’s located but I was expecting a walk thru on
removing the pump. Stating what tools will be needed which way to turn the
ring (clockwise or counterclockwise) and estimated time this job takes. I’m
in the process of replacing mines now and I’m having a little trouble kinda
looking for help in here.

Sorry about the camera. I still have to figure this cell phone camera out.
It’s only allowing me to take narrow videos. This is a v6

mifanointed1 says:

I had it tested at a shop

mifanointed1 says:

Man I wish I could remember which tools I used once I twisted that top off.
But I believe most of it was a matter of just disconnecting things. I wish
I would have recorded this as I was doing it.
