to evryone fix missfire for lincoln be awear the pcm will cut the injector
signle for same misfire cyl. after few scond whern engine start up ,while
engine runing the pcm will send the injector signle to check if no more
misfire if stil misfire cut agine , dont think pad pcm u have to make sure
that is the case.if u use the scope u can see the signle normal at start up
for few second the go away and start back evry few cycle just one time the
cut agine
if you have misfire in cly #2 for example u ll have code p0302 and if you
have bad pcm always have code start with p060x that mean internal falire
for pcm..in this case you have change the pcm ,u can find used one but u
have to reprograme it.if not this the case u have to make sure u locate the
correct cylinder missing and test the comretion at this cylinder and check
all.the reading have to be close if not mean have bad valve or pestone
ring.if ok check injector , and vaccume leak around cyl.
i am so sorry for late… in this case the ignition coil primery circit for
3 coils was short .custeme keep drive for long time with bad coil and sure
one after another get bad .the driver for each ignition coil inside the pcm
“2 wires coil” bad coil cause the damage for the drive .no matter if you
change the coil later never fix the misfire ,you have change pcm new or
used then you have to reprograme to start the engine..in this car if you
have misfire code pcm will cut the injector signal
pcm not easy to go bad but in this case the circit for ignton system
control integreated inside pcm that is mean icm”igntion control module”
part of pcm and each coil have owne driver work same as icm .if coil was
short the driver damage .and you have change this driver “integreated
circit IC” but most the time no way to change it that is way we change all
PCM for just bad only one IC”integreated circit”
Im having problems with my lincoln ls codes keep saying ignition coils and
pcm when I changed the coil its still sayin the same coil misfire and
pcm…is that a bad pcm or more coils??

these are Radio capacitors, they only eliminate the stereo noise
i mean compretion test for all cyl.
