I bought the ball joint from oriellys for around 150 maybe less. Then took parts to local mechanic’s shop for install. He charged me 80. Then I went to pick up the part with new ball joint and put it back in myself. You can save at least 400 to 600 dollars.

The steering thingy is the outer tie rod end. Did you pay a lot for the replacement part? My dealer wants $660 for it!!! I’ll get rid of the car before I spend $660 for a ball joint problem.
