The trick is on my Nautalis as in the video the mirrors need be in folded position to work. There is a vehicle setting for each so mirror folding and welcome lighting need to be enabled.
Why if the welcome light isn't coming on from the passenger side?
my lights randomly come on, even if i dint have the fob?
I love watching these videos because I like to modify my cars with new features from much newer models, I have a Lincoln Towncar Signature that I want to add the Welcome lighting and new keyless system as well as new heated folding mirrors, Car-PC with 7.1 Surround sound, Lincoln puddle lamps….As well as some features that aren't on newer models like turn signal Ditch lamps, the last Towncar that had that feature was the 1989 Towncar….Some Cadillacs still had it, so I'll have to find one that matches the style of the Towncar and do some body work.
I'm also going to add a fronts and rear load leveling air ride with modern settings, with Police anti sway bars…
Best part is most of the car parts can be found in Auto Recycling yards or the dealer parts counter for OEM fit and finish.
I love the Lincoln Welcome Mat :), super hi-tech!
