It looks completely covered but you should be able to pull the coil up and back towards the firewall and slip the coil out the backside. If you are changing the plug an extension should be able to go straight down from the backside as well.
I looked at how the hard line attaches to the exhaust manifold, as a last resort, you could break that treaded connection and get your inch you need. However, you may need some sort of gasket or treaded high temp lock tight to seal off when you re-attach the hard line. You don’t want an exhaust leak there. Hope this helps. Thanks for the feedback.
Next, I would try to get my swivel above the line and use the long extension to come back to the ratchet. You can be safe applying extra torque on removal. Install: I would set it all by hand. I think you can apply a little pressure with your socket extension to the line, that should give you enough room.
I took a closer look at my navigator today and I see the line you are describing. In my car it is exactly between the third and fourth plugs. In your situation here is what I suggest. Removal: you can probably get your fingers on the top of the COP and jog it loose. You should be able to bend it out and around the line. Next, drop just the socket down in the hole and use a couple short extensions to press into the socket, then use your fingers to set the socket around the plug.
Thanks for your video Steven, however, i need your help, i own an 03 Blackwood with the 32 valve v8, same as your Navi, the last plug on the drivers side is covered by a hard line, maybe an EGR tube, not sure, this line blocks the whole COP, was afraid to bent or damage something, so at the moment i have 7 new plugs and 1 old, can you explain with more detail how to extract that last one?
