that motor is the best,
My buddy had the v8 97 Ford Explorer in green Eddie Bauer edition I think it was a 5-0
Bug shield looks great on this suv.
Anthony it does have Twilight Sentinel or "Autolamp" as Ford called it. In those years Explorers and Mountaineers the on-off switch and delay is on the rear view mirror on the windshield, and I can clearly see that option in this video
I'm only here because of the Buick Wagon in the thumbnail.
VISITING WITH ANTHONY IS KINDA LIKE GOING TO A BURLESQUE JOINT . OOOPPPSSS THERES A CRANBERRY COLORED TOWN CAR WHOOOYEAH
I had a ‘98 Eddie Bauer 5.0 V8 and I loved it. I had the same issue with the radio. The auto lamp is under the rear view mirror. This car is amazing in snow. I wish I could own another one. Great car!
Love those body style Explorers, and you just don’t find them in this shape anymore. I’d have a hard time deciding wether to drive it and enjoy it or to keep the miles low, looking forward to seeing it all cleaned up and ready for sale!
That was an short-lived option called Homelink with travel note. This way you could leave yourself voice notes of stuff that you needed so you wouldn't forget say going to the grocery store or whatever you could say remember to get eggs….
Atta boy Anthony
That was the poster child picture of the exploding Firestone tire recall roll over days. Sorry, but first things cross my mind. Sorry. Rough ride with plenty of rattles…
I remember when my parents bought a '95 Ford Explorer Limited. But we loved it anyway. That car gave us many happy moments. A few years later we had to sell the our Explorer because of financial reasons.
'Cash for clunkers' was a total disgrace to the American auto industry. What Obama did was help crappy companies like toyota excel in America. The Ford Explorer with the 4.0 V6 is more reliable than ~any~ toyota, but he, and his cronies, and the fake-news made soft minded people believe otherwise. Obama passed many awful bills, but, this my friends was the worst!
I had two Ford Explorers with the V8. I turned it in for a Grand Cherokee Limited which I love much better.
The explore can you do 3k on it
It actually looks better without the bug deflector
Explorer was one of the best vehicles I ever owned
Hi Anthony ….the V8 they had back then was th 5.0 V8….
