Thanks for this. I was wondering why all the struts I'm seeing online for Continental, front electronic, suspensions have no springs. Now, I know. Very informative video for anyone who wants to keep the original suspension system. I'll just go look for a cheap left front strut and swap everything over to my old strut if it worked OK for you. How did this go?
just get front Taurus springs it's the same platform as continental or you could have used those new struts the oem struts are not air ride what they are is just a self adjusting dampening strut when cornering etc… as long as everything is connected besides the electrical connector it will be virtually the same ride quality the comfort comes from the rear air springs

You bought a conversion kit for air to coil. You already had front coil struts. You put new springs on old struts.
