Bruce Allen says:

Im not knocking this fix what so ever, but these motors are upwards of 1000 to 1200 from the dealer if you cant find them used…. its best to take a few hours, take them apart and clean everything up. This is just a temporary fix… if the lubrication does not work for you, then be sure to unplug the motors until you can take them down and clean them… this will save the motor from burning up and failing all together.

I'm sure whoever owns the property were you drove it to, and sprayed it and allowed it to"stain the ground" as you described, will certainly appreciate it. Doesn't surprise me though. Feral apes have no respect.

Rico Smith says:

I haven't tried this but I'm concerned that it doesn't work. Only one of my running boards don't work. It makes a sound sorta like a seal yelping and gets stuck. I hear the motor but the running board doesn't stay up.

Curtis Gregory says:

The only thing I have to say is I wouldn't use a lubricant like WD-40 there.. WD-40 does collect alot of dirt. Meaning it would fix it for a while but eventually make it worse. I would use something like silicone spray after using a cleaner.

Mzz Tbaby says:

didn't work for me but thx

Mzz Tbaby says:

Thanks for this. I'll give it a try tomorrow

Great Video thank you Sir 😀

victor urbina says:

just had this problem with my 08 yukon denali. I love WD40 but in this case I had a better dry lubricant that doesn't attract dirt or grime. it is put out by the Boeing aircraft company and its called T9. I use it for my stabilizer jacks on my camper and it is fantastic. Great video by the way. I just used common sense and resolved the problem but after seeing your video it let me know I did the right thing. Thanks….

PianoClubHouse says:

Whereas your video showed it staying in the extended position, mine stays in the up position. It will randomly come down when it feels like it, but mostly stays up. WD40 worked like a charm for a day or two, then started jamming again. Is there a 2nd-level of troubleshooting that you would recommend we can do? or should i just be vigilante with WD40 and it will eventually free up? Thanks.

Nikki's, how is school and have you been fishing lately?

ketama1122 says:

As a follow up, tried your WD 40 suggestion and it worked Perfectly. Thank You again.

Itz Viri says:

Hey Nikko I'm sorry this has nothing to do with this video but it's the most recent I could find. I just wanted to say I think your wonderful. Now to what actually has to do with this video…I find all this very interesting but have no idea where to get started. Anyway keep being awesome I hope all is well!
