My neighbor’s 2004 Lincoln LS has been misfiring and cutting out on her in traffic. That’s obviously less than ideal so she’s had to park it for the last month. Today we’re going to jump in and do a massive tune-up to get it back on the road and solve the misfires. She wants a new car but this old Lincoln is honestly super nice for it’s era and we’ve gotta save it from the junkyard.

I cringed so hard when you didn’t put a towel down to protect the windshield from the wiper slamming down
dont' forget to use a combination of baking soda and vinegar and follow with 1/4 bottle of hydrogen peroxide to clear up that mess
I had a Lincoln LS. Sadly I had a lot of problems with it. Including a leak that the dealer claimed was a sunroof leak but I didn’t buy that. The passenger side A pillar would get wet when it rained, but when I’d get home and try opening the sunroof, I’d find the channel was dry as a bone. I’m thinking maybe it was the windshield seal in that side?
Mine had the 6 cylinder (and rare manual transmission) and I’d have a coil pack go bad yearly. Several power window regulators went bad, seat heaters out, aux water pump etc. It was a neat car I owned for 6 or 7 years, but I wasn’t sad when I let it go for something reliable.
Yeah. Headlights first, so you 3see what you are going to hit
3m kit is the best from O'Reillys
way kool, shes doing some of the work, always loved the lincoln ls
I have the same sunroof problem. Could you make a update vid to see if cleaning the drains fixed the problem?
This reminds me when I used to teach my daughter how to work on cars before she went to college.
Got to get that tie rod swapped out. Glad she wants to learn basic repairs. Everyone should know how to change a tyre.
Y'all should detail that car. Wash and polish.
Keep her around jr..shes a good student and brings new life to the channel
The thing is it taking time b@mb
Cant wait for the tie rod swap & engine work.
Thank you for releasing videos that aren’t a 45min sales video for cheap vehicles. Appreciated.

House update soon?
The sunroof drain tubes are a hard plastic and pop off I’ve done it twice on my 04 LS not hard to lower the headliner enough to reattach
Funnily enough i had one of these long ago, it was my 2nd car and the day I brought it home i went to wash it in my driveway and realized afterwards, water got into the cabin and soaked the title i had in the passenger door cubby and ruined all the ink on it, luckily was able to get new one. I had a '02 LS V8 with 260k miles (not km) when sold it due to trans starting to give a slight bump randomly.
Riley is a classic old British car brand….. still owned but parked by BMW…..
Was the Lincoln LS the basis for the Jaguar S-type ?
