DIY My 2003-2011 Lincoln Towncar is Leaking. (How do I fix it?) Project Car #3

In this DIY video I show you how to solve the common “2003-2011 Lincoln Towncar Leak.” If you don’t know where your leak is coming from but have seen a puddle or two in your floor try this. It’s actually a quick and easy fix.

Tools Needed:
Phillips Head Screwdriver
and a Shop Vac

Ya need to make a cabin air filter too. It’s not hard to do. Nice ride.

You did not finish the job! You need to unbolt that piece and replace the gasket under it. Clean off the old gasket and use a frost king weather stripping. That will solve the problem. Your carpet will not grow mold unless you pull seats and carpet. Power wash and extract the water from the carpet (both sides). Let dry for about 5 days then reinstall. I have done this to 4 of my Town Cars and it does fix the problem. Good luck!
