No problem man. How did you find the video?

David Sisung says:

Did you try vice grips, and bp blaster?

Johnny Jimenez says:

Thanks guy. That was very helpful…

David Sisung says:

I would try to berp it first, by the re-fill procedure it is located on the
engine compartment somewhere, also in the owners manual.

David Sisung says:

1:25 I said put o ring in. On my 95 it was 8mm for bolts. Also mine does
not have a bleader valve. Also, I think they started using the valve thing
on later modles.

Radionut R says:

I just did that today! I wish i had see this early today! Thanks!!!

MEGABOINK65 says:

Just did mine, umm didn’t actually used these direction. i removed housing
and replaced it. still over heating. so i guess it wasnt the thermostat.
gonna replace the water pump next, but before i do, going to let all the
air bubble out of the hoses making sure is not the water pump.

Fonk Laflare says:

MEGABOINK65 says:

@MEGABOINK65 upadate! it was the thermostat. removed the air bubbles in the
system and it works great. no more over heating.

t4kne says:

bolts on thermostat housing are 10mm. According to the manual, the o-ring
goes on top of the thermostat. I tried your method and it leaked. I suggest
people put o-ring on top. Bleeder vale on thermostat faces engine.

Duc Vu says:

so yeah my 94 Lincoln mark 8 is overheating but not sure why, coolant is
full, water pump change recently, could it be the thermostat?
