How should I go about taking off the clock on my ’95?

pokitisme says:

u have to if i remember right use a large screw driver and pry up the
clock-its held in by a couple of plastic prongs that that need to be
pryedup with the whole clock-if ur having the electrical issues i speak of
then u wont be using that clock again and will need a replacement if
needed-i have not replaced mine and i use the radio clock i installed.look
for some diagrams of the clock on the net.or look for new replacement clock
and study the pictures.

the car wouldnt start. got my battery tested and was told it was dead I
replaced the battery but the car still does not start When I turn the key

Hey man, thanks for posting this. I was stuck in a gas station parking lot,
watched this video, and was able to fix it. So thank you. By the way, my
Lincoln randomly dies when I drive it. Any idea about that?

i had a power drain on mine and it turned out to be the alternator had a
short in it btw the connector u was pointing to was the cutoff for the a/c
that plug in was the a/c compressor

Buzz Clark says:

Hey there Pok. Man that is a beautiful car. You really got a good deal on
it. I’m still looking to pick up a second car – the Jetta goes to my wife &
I will get a bigger one for me. I sure wish I could find another P71 Crown
Vic Police Interceptor again. Sincerely, JAMES.

pokitisme says:

glad to help-apparently by the comments on here its a rather common issue

pokitisme says:

glad to help –thats why i posted this

pokitisme says:

due to the battery being bad-u might look into for battery drain or no
start—-door actuator / clock removal or any other number of issues
–watch my vid and respond back with more specifics and ill try to help.

pokitisme says:

watch my video–it is a power drain–i am no car expert but if u charge ur
battery and within a day or 2 it cranks but lights dim or not and it wont
start its a drain.i would suggest get a multi meter from walmart switch it
to 12 volt and touch electrodes as ive found out a car needs more that a
charged battery it needs enough volts to actually get the starter
turning.when u cranck the car it dropps the battery volts and even if ur
batt- is charged it may drop charge——

pokitisme says:

well as ive stated i did the switch thing and it worked for awhile but the
got to musical switches even moving them all back to original positions for
operation.i found this fix on some forum in a 1 line reply and had seen it
before but glossed over it-then 1 day at work i just looked again and said
hhhmmm maybe-i went home and it worked.this again worked for me just 2 days
ago and 1 day ago.good luck

pokitisme says:

well im no mechanic in any way-but what do u mean by dies is that when ur
at a stop light or what.by the way this is the fix for this issue of the
car-1 week or so ago it died like this in a goodyear garage and they had no
clue how to fix it or what was wrong.my sister called me and i came up and
wiggled the cord and it started.fix that ac cord to remedy all issues in
this case-it was estimated at the goodyear for around 89 bucks.please give
me more info on ur died issue thanks

pokitisme says:

ok thanks for the update but as to matters of issues i had the car has
started every time.

pokitisme says:

well its actually kinda fucked up but it still works-thanks
