Would it be possible to post a video of the installation of this illuminated emblem from start to finish?
I have had mine wired to an empty fuse slot in the box under the hood for the past two years. It only illuminates when I have the headlights on auto and put the car into gear. It goes out when in Park. I've been apprehensive to try the wiring harness but this looks simple. It appears you can disconnect the harness from the headlamp to insert the red and white wires from the Raymax emblem. Is that correct? Do you splice the wires our is there a way to insert the emblems wiring into the harness without damaging anything? I definitely want to give this a try.
How do you install the emblem?
Mine does nothing on the blue/white wire. I do have ground on the green/black. The only wire that responds with any change in illumination is the wire directly above the green/black that gives me positive power for the headlights, but I can't find anything that gives me power for the running lamps.
Where did you get the emblem from?
Does the Emblem stay on for 10 minutes after you shut the car off?
