Looks like it think’s it’s jammed and is going back open, seeing that it
works when you help it up it probably needs some oil or it’s bent or

What did you end up doing? I just bought a 2007 and it has the running
boards removed. Was hoping to find an after market power running board. The
local shop was hesitant to install Amp Research Boards because the mfg
didn’t have a set solution.
