Idk why u keep saying this car doesnt have a lot of power and it isnt fast when it is. These things are powerful and get u from point A to B and C all the way to Z super quick. Why do u think they put these engines in the crown vic police cars.

Sebastian Keeling says:

Town cars are great they’re about 200-300 pounds heavier than marquis or vics but if u get the dual exhausts they push quite a bit more power.. Watch for leaks under passenger dash In monsoons though i hit a dear in my town car recently was able to slow down from 50-25 in the boat and only did body damage still drives like a champ just replacing headlight and bumper

Thanks for the Town Car video. I have a silver 2001 Cartier model, and it’s getting close to 200K miles, and still going strong. I have owned mine for 2 years now, and still have not had a mechanical repair. As a used car, Town Cars are an incredible value.

Just got a 2002 Town Car with 34,000 miles on it for $3,500! Looks identical to yours and drives beautifully! Purchased from an elderly man in town who didn’t need a car anymore. God bless him.

RamblinAround says:

I paid just under $5K and it had 75,xxx miles on it when I bought it. It took me a little while to find a nice one too, but they are out there.

I’m 23 and I currently own a 2001 grand marquis LS with 44k miles on but I want the fancier town car!!! I been looking around my area, same year but they are high mileage with 150k and more and they want around $ 5k,I love that generation the most,98-2002 with the cat eyes styled front head lights, how much was yours? and mileage? Some guy wants to trade my car with his 2002 town car but his car has 160k miles :/

RamblinAround says:

The Lincoln is quite a bit quieter than the Grand Marquis. The ride is a bit better as well.

RedQNZ says:

Cool video thx. did you feel any big difference riding around in the t.c. vs the marquis? Is the t.c. feel much more luxurious than the t.c.? Quieter ride or is it about the same?

RamblinAround says:

51,000 miles, that sounds like a great find. I agree, they are really comfortable and they ride great. I had a Taurus before too…they don’t compare at all.

mano5805 says:

just got one same year 2002 with 51,000 miles on it. i love it. compared to my old ford taures, the lincoln is badass

Knightcowboy89 says:

Right? lol

RamblinAround says:

I agree, it does feel a little too fancy. Makes me feel like I should dress up to drive it..lol.

Knightcowboy89 says:

Oh don’t get me wrong,I’m not saying its not a good car, just too fancy for me to feel right driving it.lol

RamblinAround says:

I looked for a Crown Vic or Grand Marquis, but all the one’s in my area had too many miles. The Town Car has the same drivetrain and it’s only about 4 inches longer. I actually like it a lot, it drives great.

Knightcowboy89 says:

personally,I wouldve just gotten another Marquis. Town Cars just seem too luxury to me

RamblinAround says:

Lets hope I don’t need either for a while. It really rides nice right now.

John Davis says:

The air bags are cheap! DON’T PUT SPRINGS ON…you’ll regret it!…lol.

monarch1957 says:

I might be getting a Lincoln Town Car soon from my aunt in seattle.

Eric Poirier says:

Heh heh, for sure, there’s just something about a Lincoln…still dreaming about getting a ’76 Continental myself ha-ha

RamblinAround says:

Yeah, the Marquis was a nice car, but I definitely like the Lincoln even more.

Eric Poirier says:

Sucks that the Mercury got totalled, oh well. Nice step up on the Lincoln mate

RamblinAround says:

I haven’t noticed anything like that yet.

towncar16 says:

does it ever leak under the passenger side of the dash when it rains

RamblinAround says:

I think it could do it, but I haven’t felt the urge to do that yet.

slowride55 says:

7:12 I thought you were going to say you laid those down with the Lincoln having some fun lol

RamblinAround says:

Yeah, it’s pretty much all the same underneath…just fancied up a bit. Thanks for taking a look my friend.

canibusnj says:

So you replaced the Grand Marquis with it’s sharp uncle! lol Nice pick Jeff!

RamblinAround says:

Thanks for taking a look my friend, I appreciate it. I’m really happy with it so far.
