I got that kit for my 95 MarkVlll. They make the car ride great. Wish I
would had done them sooner. Screw them air bags. They would cost 1500
dollars to keep it stock air ride. 500 dollars for the kit and I have never
looked back.

James Peoples says:

Hey Lou, how much weight will I lose if I drop the fast bag system? They
seem to weigh alot.

stayunique91 says:

Needs new upper ball joints on the front there.

califdad4 says:

I met a guy with the LSC model MK VIII, he told me that when his went out,
he purchased a suspension from a Thunderbird ( V8 Sport model) at a Ford
auto wrecker, and had it installed on his Mk VIII. He said the car was fine
with it, I know those air suspensions are expensive to replace, one of the
major complaints about the 89 to 94 Continental sedan

Tariq Shabazz says:

piece of cake, no sweat, LOU IS THE MAN, down to earth, a professional with
integrity, i own three MK 8’s, i know this car well, best of all this will
save you hundreds of dollars, thx bro. you are the man… Taajuldiin from

Dude, before I clicked on this video I honestly thought it was Billy Joel
Lmao.

Chris Haywood says:

Who told you it would cost $1500 bucks? Jeeze! New OEM front air shocks
from several sources on the interwebs for $300 or less makes $600 for the
front and less than $100 each for the rear bags puts you at $800 give or
take. Don’t pay someone to install them since they are seriously a piece of
cake to do. I love my air ride on my ’97 LSC. I’ll never, ever go coil
springs. A Mark VIII with coil springs is just a T-Bird in a tux.

331sbf says:

The Mark has aluminum rear lower control arm with no spring pocket. The
Tbird has heavy steel lower control arms but do have spring pockets. One
thing I don’t like about this kit is there’s nothing to keep the rear
springs centered on the lower control arms like some other kits do.

Kyle Thorpe says:

I want my air ride back my car came with the kit

123karismith says:

I bought a Strutmaster kit and slapped it in my 98 MK VIII and love it. I
like the ride better than those squishy air bags, not quite as firm as my
2009 P71, but very controlled.

331sbf says:

Now I gotta check if my rear springs have the lettering facing the back.Kit
was already on when I bought the car.How long have they been using Eibach
springs and is there way to tell if my kit has them?.One more thing to
lower the car about 1.5″ how much of the coils needs to be cut for front
and back?.
