Just recently found a shop that welded up the frame under the front passenger door–so I’ll be keeping it for awhile. The tough part of this core job for me was removing the dash screws at the windshield and pulling the plenum out of its position–its a monster! Thanks for the comment.

hello i really like the way you done your video on how to replace a heater core on a 89 Lincoln town.You did it word for word.Are you a mechanic and where are you located at.
Again to you–I consider my video to be an amateur job, BUT I did want viewers to know that this job is possible. For me, it was either repair it or junk the car as I need the heater here in the northern winter. As you can imagine, this old TC is not worth worth taking to a shop for a job that costs 1/2 what it is worth!! I still mean to put notes on the video when I get a chance.
