09 Lincoln mks spark plug change DIY part one

Part one of 2 changing spark plugs on a 09 lincoln mks

So my phone decided to mess up and I wasn’t able to upload part 2. Here is a step by step guide to get to the rear plugs.

1. Remove engine shroud/ cover. It is just held on by rubber grommets so just pull it off.

2. Remove the air filter top assembly by unclipping the air filter cover at the air filter. Remove the vacuum hose attached to the front head.
3. Remove the mass airflow sensor connector from the intake.
4. Loosen the intake at the throttle body by loosening the clamp with a flat head screwdriver.
5. Remove the hose from the top of the intake.
6. Pull the front of the intake off.
7.Remove bolt under throttle body.
8.Pull the harness clips out of the intake
9. Remove the bracket holding the fuel rail on the left side of the intake
10. Remove 6 bolts on the intake.
11. Move the intake to the side
12. Unclip the coil connectors from the rear 3 coils
13. Remove the 3 bolts off the coils and take the coils off
14. loosen the spark plugs and remove them
15. Put new spark plugs in and tighten to 15 ft pounds or 180 inch pounds.

To assemble do everything going in reverse from step 13. Cheers
