My dash was completely destroyed, and then I installed a Coverlay dashboard cover for my Lexus RX330 (2006); came out great!
Some takeaways:
– Use sand paper to remove any stickiness from your old dash.
– Two people are better than one; ask a friend to help.
– Have cardboard wedges ready to go (get them from the box the cover was shipped in).
Pretty satisfied.

hey, i know im a year late, but my lexus dash was the same way. they have a factory recall to get a complete dash replacement for free. I had mine done about 3 years ago.
Lexus has a recall on those dash boards. They will replace them.

I read on another Lexus yt that you’re not supposed to do it yourself bc it can mess with the airbag deployment. Why is there a rectangular section cut out on the passenger side?
