Did this on my 2016 GSF. I believe the same issue happens on RCFs so hope this can help those too. Gonna be seeing this a lot more as these cars get older.
Instructions:
Removed old coating on carbon fiber trim.
Prep’d by wet sanding with 800 grit.
One light tac coat of SprayMax 2k clear gloss coat, followed by heavier ones. I only did 3 coats in the video which wasn’t enough, probably go with 5 or 6.
After curing wet sand with 2000 grit and polish out.
Add new anti friction tape and reinstall.
