The OEM tow hitch seems more solid and a lot more bolts to mount the hitch.

How do we determine if the RX350 is the towing capable option or not? Referring to 3:55. Is it possible to do without those specs?
Based on this well done and reassuring video, I ordered a hitch from Amazon that ended up being different than the one you installed (required cutting a trim panel, no bolts, etc. but did come with five pounds of wrapping paper : ). Returned that one and I just ordered another hitch I found by searching on the number 84540 (which I saw on a sticker at 3:13). Looks to be the one you installed in the video. Thanks for the help, sir … much appreciated!
Does the hitch cause any problems with the hatch (foot lift) sensor?
Did you have power to the 4 pin plug? Sometimes you don't have power and have to get a module which allows the power to hitch wire. The module goes on the right side in the trunk area under the small lid and storage. I have a 2020 and having a difficult time finding a hitch
Do you have a F sport? Or is it a base trim?
