Thanks for the video,,,I needed to see what the fan looked like and giving
the part number was awesome! Where can I find the fan now??
Hey on 2000 land rover discovery.. where is the other fuse box located
other than the one on engine compartments? and what does it look like?
Thanks
I have the exact same problem with my 2004 Range Rover. Thank you very much
for posting this video. I would have never figured it out otherwise….
YES!!!!
@sarelle500gr Regarding him, I think you worded it perfectly, I couldn’t
have said it better myself! Thanks again, More vids coming soon! Take care.
Geo
I just did this but i did not have a hight pitch sound the problem with
mine was that it did not want to shut off so i disconnected the blower and
and clen it up and now everything is normal thanks for this video …
Ok…thanks again
@sarelle500gr Thanks for the props guys! By the way, there is some guy from
Turkey on Youtube who is making wierd shaving videos and putting my name
over them and using my voice on top of his strange videos… Do you guys
know him by any chance? Maybe you could get him to stop….Hah! If you
search my name, some of his stupid videos are popping up… G.
Thanks for the advice. r ua technician for only landrover
Men, I would really want to meet with you if was in us, you really seem a
good and nice guy. Hard to find buddies like that nowadays.
I have the same problem. Once I get the ebox fan out like in your video, is
it just a quick switch to change out the fans? Like unplug and plug the new
one in? Great video, thanks Can you post the part number as well?
@snooktarp Nah, Just a “Hands-On” type guy who prefers to do things on his
own whenever possible! Anything technical you need the high-dollar computer
diagnostic system and software to figure out… I looked on YT for this,
didn’t see it, so I figured I’d record the process and put it out there to
help others with the Tweety Bird symptom in their RR’s. Good luck, Geo.
Geo, I have an 05 Range Rover and I have this problem. Dealer was trying to
clobber me $600 to replace it. The whistling sound is annoying. Going to
try to spray some WD-40 if not I’ll replace on my own. Thanks for this.
Albert, Charlotte,NC
@geofatboy Nah, didnt know him, just saw now. I think he is just a dumbass.
You dont need to worry about him and his stupid videos. Your vids are
perfect. We love you, just keep going. 😉 cheers from Turkey Özgün
@snooktarp No problem Albert, FYI: I tried the WD-40 and it was silent for
a few days… Then the dreaded twittering birds came back, so I ordered the
part and replaced it. Sounds like I saved about $500 over the dealer! Geo.
I have a 2005 Range Rover today for the first time I see a message (
transmission failed safe programm) anyone knows what’s the problem?…
@tsebo1969 I just sent the part info to your inbox. It’s not too difficult
to change on your own and save some dollars by avoiding the dealer. I
couldn’t find how to do it anywhere on line so I made the vid to help
others in the same situation . Also, I misspoke in the vid, the fan draws
air from the passenger compartment to the ebox, not vice verse. It’s
purpose is to keep the components inside the box from overheating Good
luck, Geo ShaveNation. c o m
Geo, can you send me the part number to that fan? I’m having the same issue
with the tweety bird!
Probably one of the most helpful videos I have every watched. Keep up the
good work.
Thanks for for the advice. Are you a technician for Land Rover? If so I had
a question about my RR.
@dongetti Dongetti, Excellent !!!! I’m glad you were able to figure it out
and rectify the problem. Best Regards, Geo.
Geo, I have an 05 Range Rover and I have this problem. Dealer was trying to
clobber me $600 to replace it. The whistling sound was driving me nuts.
Going to try to spray some WD-40 if not I’ll replace on my own. Thanks for
this. Albert, Charlotte,NC
Check under the steering column, a screw driver is needed to remove the
cover. Let me know if this helps. Good Luck, Geo.
