The most enjoyable TV I've watched over christmas. Several people have already pointed out the error in the fog lamp positioning, but can I also point out that if you get a really miserable MOT inspector that isn't dazzled by your incredible build, the front number plate might fail due to the space in between the numbers. This happened on my Landrover a couple of decades ago when I bought it. Fantastic work Max as ever!

@mattnoyes7729 says:

I adore this build Max…my favourite thing you've ever done, and that's saying something…your projects are all very interesting

Jesus that bird. Saw it in the last video and earlier in this one. But at 1:18:21 is marvelous!

@Wheelloader__ says:

Pretty cool. A drivable useable pickup truck. Just think not long ago it was pieces of metal stroon all over. You da man Max.

@gigi3242 says:

You really are a recycling wizard!! Yogurt cup, dad's old lathe switches, garden hose… you truly are amazing. Definitely going to turn heads.

@DietrichLopan says:

Excellent work as always. I do love the stage 1 look with the Defender bonnet & grille.

When everything in the world has fallen to time the only thing surviving will be that towing socket bracket! Nearly there Max, well done.

@keitho77 says:

Fantastic work Max!!
Would you consider the addition of centre armrests as well?

@shaunsautorepairs5410 says:

Not sure about the lagaletys but even though you dont need a rear fog light if you have one fitted it should be on the offside… The right hand side for us in the uk where we drive on the right…..

@mully8956 says:

Really is looking great, I might need to buy a set of yhose LED lights for my Series 3 88, your right the origionals are crap!

@mylesmooney7505 says:

What year is it ? Going by the roof it’s the same as mine 1988 yours could be older

@Simon78 says:

This is as usual a very well thought out, videographed and informative video it’s been a joy to catch-up on Kermit, also I can’t wait to see what progress Mark has made with Project Awesome,
I hope Grandad and yourself had a great Xmas, take care

@TheDinnermoney says:

I love watching your progress and the way you work. Can I make an aesthetic suggestion though? The second white radiator on the right of the grill is distracting, you should paint it black. Also that bit of youghurt pot should be black too! Sorry…

@twotone3070 says:

This is really exciting with it so near to completion, only drawback is that it will then be complete. I hate to say this but I have a vague feeling that if you have a single rear fog lamp it must fitted no further to the nearside than the centre line. You may have already looked into this and found different though.
