Looking forward to the video
We are in negotiations to get the specialist to show how to remove and install these products.
Great videos! Do you have a video of taking apart the final drive? or atleast some tips and advice to make the process easier? I already have my final drive out and need to install 4.11 gears and TruTrack differential. Thanks
Thanks, Don’t know the part number sorry. You can ask Land Rover Parts in your area for the number if it is available seperately then go to Paddocks to see if they stock the part… sorry cannot be of more help.
You need to kit replace the whole lot together anyway…
hi,,,I want to change the rubber coupling and I see the part number for the kit is…. TVF100010GB but I can not find the part number of the “spigot”.. the one that fits in the differential flange… can you tell me the part number so I can buy it?
thanks a lot, great video..
Yes this is possible and i will revisit this subject a few times in the future …
Good video, How ever I was under the impression that that the crown wheel and pinion require a specific amount of back lash, at around 8 to 10 thou? If you could do a video on setting up the backlash that would be good :-) Thanks
Sorry not sure exactly what you wanted to ask but if oyu are asking what editing programme I used,..it’s FCPx
There is a couple of techniques. One is to “pair” it out, that the steel sleeve, with a special chisel. It would be easy to hacksaw the steel sleeve, if it wasn’t a blind hole.
An impulse extractor with expandable adaptor is out of reach for most. Some collapse the bush steel part in on itself with a cold chisel until it is loose and can be removed.
How do you remove that bush for the spigot in the end of the prop? Got my kit ready to fit, haven’t started yet, still researching. Ta
No worries,..more on the way!!
Thats the way we are going to go Robin. Links direct to the parts and tools used in the vids will be marked. (except links to my toolbox tools of course).
Which bits leak? Land Rovers are supposed to mark their territory aren’t they??
Please keep making these they are only Getting better thanks a lot
Can you do a video to on how to make the all the britpart bits i buy from paddocks stop leaking?
TF
Great video, these are getting much better and more informative plus we can see the parts paddocks can supply.
Great work, keep at it, they are really helpful
