I am doing an Engine Swap myself at the moment with a Discovery 3. Body on. Great video mate. Well done!
It’s a mission body on.

Mighty Car Mods says:

Great video mate, well done!

leopTV says:

This is great video, I've also in countered this kind of work. The issue of the engine is heavy knocking noise, as we inspected the oil condition by removing the oil pan found out metal chips in the oil and in the oil filter as well. We perform body lift to replace engine assembly. Thank you sir and more power.

JBohlz*Tube1 says:

I just pulled a motor on one of these. If you pull the heads first. The engine comes right out fairly easy without pulling apart the whole front end like that. We like to pull the heads first and when installing the motor back. Do it without the heads on. It’s not that bad.

Allan says:

Excellent video……..but basically you are swapping a really crap citroen engine with a short fragile crank for another one. Mine failed at 44k .

TreasureDivers says:

Best body off vid for the discovery I have seen , well done

AJK Favourites says:

Are you based in Sydney and do you do private work, I need a swap done as of Saturday…

Impressive. I wonder is there any other engine that fits LR4 that could be used (from Ford, or …)?

Five dots Dave says:

When the body is being lifted off where is the steering disconnected?

SAMRODIAN says:

A very nice job young man! I'm extremely impressed with how you did it, a lift helps though epecially as you did it all on your lonesome, maybe the dog will forgive me, but he's not a lot of use handing you the spanner's is he? lol The lump sounds twenty times better than the old one.

Amos Haley says:

You made this look like a breeze

I’m just wondering what’s the mileage on the old engine before you put in the new/recon engine? Usually them discover 3.0 engine can last for how many kilometres?
