Good video. Wish I had seen this video before my mate, a motor mec’ changed
the belt on my 1994 LRD 300 TDI, now I can’t move either of those bolts!
What should be the torque on those two bolts? Bill Australia
`Torque of the bolts are on the P gasket remove refit video, …that’s if
you meand the tensioner retainer?

With brute force I managed to move the bolt, removed the tensioner,bearing
is as new but the unit itself was frozen, I gave it a good dose of WD40,
placed it in a vice and a few minutes I had the tensioner working freely.
It’s now back in place on the Disco and working as it should. A free
tip…Don’t let any motor mec’ mates work on your LR, take it to a good
diesel fitter, someone who knows what they’re doing. Or, come here to Land
Rover Toolbox Videos and get the pointers 😉
