Hi im having trouble removing spigot. Does the spigot get reused. Im
converting from drum to disc
spigot might have had too much thread lock on it. Give it a good whack once
on the top then try again. Spigot can be reused if not worn or damaged.

some do and some don’t. Depends on the axle and year.
Oh I forget to mention that this particular diff has a preload on the
pinion bearing.

whining is the pinion and crown wheel not meshing properly. Is it whining
on overdrive? ( when you take your foot off the accelerator)?
