How to install Power Steering Pump on a Land Rover Defender TD5

How to install Power Steering Pump on a Land Rover Defender TD5

Finally ready to install the new Power Steering pump after fitting the new pipes and hoses. This is an simple job where the most difficult part is to get the steering pump keys to allign with the water pump keys. So don’t worry, this is a job everyone can do. A tip is to put on the auxiliary belt before you torque up the bolts on the pulley wheels, as it won’t spin as much. Good luck with the job and if you have any questions just put them in a comment below.

A few months ago i changed the seal on the steering pump so i took the opportunity and also washed the container from the liquid that was dirty after 180k km.
