Our central locking went strange. The boot would open but the doors would no lock or unlock. We tried re-syncing the key but that did not fix it. In the end we had to do a “body ECU” BCU reset by disconnecting the battery and shorting the car electrics.

Doing this, do you think that all the settings would be erased? Or it will come up as a factory settings? I'm having an issues with my key with the unlock/ locking system. It opens only manually (insert the key directly through the driver door) so everything else works perfectly only that the key doesn't let me lock or unlock the doors. I've tried re-sync but not a joy.

can you do this without the resistor like with jumpleads
Had the same problem with my 03 and the problem was the ECU was in transport mode.
Could you do a video on how to clean or replace the blower motor on an L322?
Would the same thing work for the air suspension, mine is playing up
