I am not going to lie, I hate that engine, why not key it, I have had a hand full come in after a customer though they could just charge the harmonic balancer, I am a ford guy but I am also a professional technician and I can say without a doubt ford engineers failure into their vehicles and over engineering is their strongpoint, while every other oem is simplifying hoses and wiring ford said let’s do the opposite “spaghetti is what we are after”

I noticed the marks orientation shown in the video and it occurred to me that it may be useful as the entire system depends on a friction fit for the cam/crank gears , and a special tool to center the CKP
