Untill watching this video i would have thought it would be thump thump thump not tap tap tap, its eye opening just how little effort is needed, but experience can’t be bought only acquired. Thanks for sharing the vid.
thanks for your vids, helping a fair bit
Hi there ive got a question
How to remove old Bog on a panel ? Cheers
i learned my panel beating basics in NZ too… a real long time ago. But here in OZ it’s quicker (read”cheaper” ) to pull the panel into shape then slap on the plastic.
Nah all bad news for you. you just gota bog the dents on alloy landrover panels. Rastolad
Hey restolad, Good videos they are such interesting and well explained. I own a land rover series 3 . The problem is that i am new to panel beating.I have some small dents ON MY LAND Rover the problem is that the body is made of aluminium. Is it posible to fix dents because a hate filler .Are these tools: good panel beating hammer sets and a free dent sliding hammer good to fix the dents what do you tink pls reply and 10x!
and thats how rock music was created
jk nice videos btw
You take the outside first and then the inside last your first relieve the pressure from the outside then go for the dent on the inside.
Sir, You are a very good teacher in the fine arts of panel repair. I’ve learned so much…i’ve even heard myself saying “ping, ping, ping, there’s the dolly” (with cool accent and all) when i’m utilizing your well-discussed techniques. Again, thanks for the lessons!
well done mark!,we’ll make a panel man outta ya yet! and ya great with the camera too! great vid again bazz!
Danny.
I currently live in a place where panel beating is only done with copious amounts of bog. I have a roof repair I need to do on my truck so will take a plug at it myself as don’t need to pay big money for bog. Cheers for the concise and information packed videos
Always liked working with Kiwi’s. Hard working with great humour.
Thanks for the lessons, very helpful. I’ve got a 57 Chevy PU and a 50 Mercury both look like they scraped a fence post, rear fender on the 57 and a rear passenger door on the 50 Mercury. It’s a flat dent very hard for me to figure out. Do you have any vids on fixing that type of dent? Thanks again for the lessons, I’m learning a lot from your work.
you make everything look easy great videos gracias

are all unit standards for the automotive industry,
as you may well of experienced,
the problem lies in quenching, these life long deeply ingraned
