Use the oil cap and a rachet to remove it. it is much more easy and a torque wrench to tight it.

350.00 labor for doing an oil change?? Every place should check all fluids especially on a 4WD. You know I worked with a guy who had a late 90's Jeep Grand Cherokee and he had to have his rear differential totally rebuilt because an axle seal was leaking and the diff. ran dry, I told him fluids are SUPPOSED to be checked when doing an oil change
