What’s the difference between a cobra and a cobra terminator?
What lead you to believe it was bad gas? Looks like the FRP failed, causing
it to flood. That’s why it blew so much smoke and carbon out when it
finally started.
Also…why would you push start a car with a functional starter? Push
starting is only useful when you have a failed starter, which this car
obviously did not have.
I noticed that some shell gas station have 10% ethanol.
I’d rather push a Ford than drive a Chevy.
If anyone was talking s*** about Ford because of this is probably retarded.
A car guy and also a Ford guy like myself still has respect for other
brands like mopar and gm.
umm i hope you were running test pipes or no cats because that massive
flooding condition that your fuel rail pressure sensor caused loaded up
your intake and valves with fuel. this unburnt fuel goes straight out the
exhaust valves and into your cats. loading them with fuel causes them to
clog…or worse detonate, or go into a melt down. If I were you I would
have pulled the sparkplugs as well before I continued to crank the engine
over. This much flooding could have caused petro-lock and you could have
done significant internal engine damage. you cant compress a liquid and
when the cylinders fill with liquid fuel and doesn’t ignite and burn off
then somethings gotta give…Rod, Piston, Sparkplug, valves, Head… just
be more carefull next time before you go “Push Starting” your beautiful
mustang. Love the car.
That’s why I don’t like domestics.. #1 they fall apart and break #2 one
little piece or plastic costs $200.. I’ve had a mustang like that one and
oh man those things fall apart like crazy!

Nowhere else… well, never had an issue with it *knock on wood*
human error somewhere from the gas station itself. Did he fill up while the
tanker was filling up the underground tanks?
At least you guys got it working. When I get my first car in a couple
years, this is the model of mustang I want, or at least it doesn’t have to
be that certain year. And I hope mine actually works 🙂

I drive a 97 Grand Prix GTP, it’s supercharged so I have to put 93 octane
in it, and I’ve learned to go to high traffic gas stations because at gas
stations that don’t get a lot of business, the 93 sits longer and either
separates or goes bad. I had my car stall on me repeatedly and I got all
sorts of codes for different sensors and it just turned out to be bad gas.

This May be unrelated and or a stupid question but is the smurf straight

Am I the only one that noticed that the first time trying to push start the
car the guy turned the key instead of letting the clutch out.I would say it
was double the learning experience,btw that says to me that it was a
reliable car
