This abandoned Lamborghini Murcielago cost me £100,000 from a track experience company. Ive been rebuilding the car aswell as the engine. In the last video we finally put the V12 engine back in the car after 7 years of being apart. But it didnt last long because id made a stupid mistake!

Philippe STRICKLER says:

I will keep in mind that your brand new dashboard works . The V12 is so sophisticated than it refuses to run for a very small mistake . When you will get the MURCIELAGO running, i suggest a big party for you, all your family and your crew. With a special award to SIR ARMSRTONG SENIOR.

Allen Wong says:

Hi Matt, Can your next project be a merc e-class 2019? Interested to see how badass it can be and you’re the only man for the job.

joseph donovan says:

Would it not be the time to test out the starter and alternator during this removal . I did not see a video of you testing these before they were installed . it would be terrible if they fail in short time.

Sean Doyle says:

happens to us all Mat i feel your pain head up you will get her finished

Savage Hunting Clips says:

Hooked on your videos!!!

Colin Ward says:

Fair play to you for being honest and owning up making a mistake. Thankfully no damage done apart from the time taken to correct the error.

Great content as always and looking forward to seeing this back on the road!

countryboy021583 says:

I'd have 6-8 wrenches sticking out of the wall by now.

Chucky Thedoll says:

As many exotics that you have restored, this shouldn't surprise you a lot. Shit happens good man. Just do as you always do, research it and fix it correctly. There is a bright side, could be a decent engine. And instruments are a go, progress is made. But, may need to take the heads lose again. So you can compress those orings with the head gaskets.

Hounslow Parks says:

I love your attitude to adversity. Head down and plough forward. Hats off to you.

HAM RADIO, CB RADIO, QTH TENBY WALES says:

great work on the dash clocks

Dawid says:

Should be able to check the mileage from the ABS Module, then code the mileage on the clocks before MOT

Katleho Mabeta says:

Dear Mat I see you trying Sir well done

William Zayas says:

Watching this on a Friday. Best way to start the weekend!

Matthew Ivison says:

I can’t be the only one who has the stop/break light on the roof that pops up.

Martin Ley says:

"But if we just spent a little more time actually reading the manual…" – Save the manual! 😉

Bryan Drobny says:

I would have spent the 1k for the adapter

Andrew White says:

Yikes, engine seals are very important. Especially with a V12, the pressure that power plant is putting out is crazy.

Oliver Essame says:

Loving the work Mat.

Alex says:

Super wholesome that Mat is doing all this with his Dad.

Glenn Jones says:

Whilst you have the engine blackout change the exhaust gaskets you made, they won't last for more than a few days, the composite will breakup between the 2 metal surfaces, believe me I have been there before! The gaskets look the same as Alfa 3.0 v6 and Maserati 3200 gt V8 ones, though you would have to check the size is the same. Good luck!
