How many quarts of oil does that tke?

Gabriel01923 says:

you guys ever worked on aventadors?

htc one says:

Why the fuck does a 25$ job cost 2000$ is the filter solid gold and the oil
is pure silver holy shit

Keegan Mohrfeld says:

how do you get that job?

CarScrubs says:

This Gallardo has a 6-speed manual transmission. The transmission/front
differential/rear differential fluid is all the same stuff…the mechanic
used Redline MT-90 75W90 GL-4 manual transmission/transaxle gear oil –
makes the Gallardo’s gated manual shift smooth as butter!

@sammy589 Thank you for your comment as well. Please feel free to add your
input towards the question above. I’ve been doing quite well, and within a
year’s time ( yes, i’ll post the entire affair on YT when it occurs )
maybe… i may consider the Gallardo model specifically. Probably purple or
plum.

James McNair says:

Hhhaawwhhh…. O.O

tonytober says:

Also… Is it true that Lamborghinis are a pain to maintain, in a way that
they break often? Like the e-Gear, transmition box and such? I read on
forums about people saling their Murcié and some Gallardos for R8s because
they get bashed easily… I don’t know, I love Lambos but if this is true,
it’s pretty disapointing

@CarScrubs Thank you for this video post. So, transmission, front
differential, and rear differential fluids for the Lambo ? I appreciate the
education. Question, though ( i apologize in advance should my ? appear
silly 😛 ) : Transmission fluid for the Gallardo aside, What would be the
appropriate fluid brand for the differentials ?

tonytober says:

Is it true that such an oil change at the dealer really costs half a grand?
Like, 500$ ? Is it true that Gallardos are a pain to maintain?

iEXOTICS1 says:

My dad just got a Gallardo and we were wondering how much service costs for
30k.

LamboyV10 says:

hey how many miles do you have on the car?! any crazy stories involving
services, costs, or breakdowns!?!?!?!

davigon says:

how much would a tune up cost on average?

CarScrubs says:

Service intervals are every 7500 miles…cost depends on what needs to be
done…could be $1-2K for typical fluids/filters/spark plugs/misc stuff or
could be several thousand if the car needs a new clutch or something major
needs repair/replacement. New tires all the way around will run around
$1500 or so, but that’s the case with any sports car (Porsche, Ferrari,
etc) and not specific to Lamborghini.

veryslyfox says:

$500 is what dealers charge and it’s a ripoff. I replaced the engine oil in
my G for $170 ($70 oil filter + $60 oil + $40 filter wrench). Takes 35
minutes. Rear diff oil is easy and costs $40. The hardest is the front diff
because you have to remove and re-install the aero undercover, and you
probably need a second person to help you reinstall it because it’s big.
LP560 is harder than the G because the engine has the underbody cover.
Takes an hour to change the engine oil.

CarScrubs says:

Yeah, front and rear diff oil still looked good. Engine oil is Motul 8100
5W40 (100% synthetic).

CarScrubs says:

Gallardos are very reliable as long as they are serviced/maintained
properly and the work is done by a reliable dealer/shop. They are like
high-end Audis with built-in German reliability. Manual transmission cars
add an extra safety factor with reliability compared to E-gear cars. If
something major breaks with an E-gear system, be ready to spend some
cashola. This car has over 25K miles and runs like a champ!
