there is no automatic roof top because they tried to keep the weight low

As shitty this roof is, I must admit this guy is pretty fast.
Yeah, im sold a gallardo whether superleggera or performante is the number
one choice over a roadster murcielago.
Man I’d rather the Audi R8 or the gallardo spyder with automatic rooftop 🙂

@ocf1fan1 if it has those automatic stuff,it would be heavier.
I can’t imagine paying more money for more weight, less performance and a
roof that is harder to put on than solving a rubiks cube.
though i agree that it should fold itself the name of the car is the
“roadster” and roadsters usually don’t have roofs, consider the cover an
offering from lamborghini

an automaticly roof and we have a lambo murcielago lp640 roadstar with an
oldschool roof
You need 1 manual to the car and another to how put the roof.

Well that sucks, I mean big time!!! Maybe my JCW Mini is not as fast and
expensive, but it drops it’s roof automatically in less then 15 sec. Try to
beat that in front of a traffic light!!
Watching the video made me think what if it was pooring rain? those 2:43
seconds would feel like a day under the rain..
This kind of thing gives the car character. Plus, it would’ve been pretty
difficult for them to find a place for that roof to go if it were to fold
automatically. And the mechanism would’ve added even more weight to an
already heavy car. This is good enough.
