+Tj Oliphant When you buy these lights from http://www.rclighthouse.com they have
the option or a plug into receiver box or a 9v battery connection.

Yes these light should almost defiantly work on your rustler, I don’t see
why not. If you have any technical questions about the lights ask them at
RClighthouse, they are very helpful

GGobblin says:

That looks stupid with all the metal showing on the outside of the body.
The light holders are not supposed to be seen on the outside. Like a real
car they are supposed to be hidden behind reflectors and clear plastic for
headlights.
Those metal holders are dumb and make this a brutally bad install. Very
unprofessional and not natural looking. .

I just use bike cycel lights on my 75 euro rc car Much cheaper XD

Awesonymous RC says:

Hey man, use a body reamer to make those holes. Life gets so much easier!

To hold the wires down onto the body shell, I use small plastic hooks,
which are usually used to hang picture frames. The hooks are about
10mmx10mm in size, so the really small ones. The hooks have a fairly strong
adhesive on the back of it. Put the wires through the hook, and hold the
wire in place with small zip ties.
The plastic hooks stayed on for 2 months, until I smashed my car at around
60kph+ lol, and only one fell off.

Sticky tape attracts a lot of dirt, and fall off quickly.

Devon Phax says:

does it matter what reciever you have depending on your car?
