Those SharkBite connectors are sweet, but super expensive, I would never
use so many of them or them in any space you have such easy access for
soldering.
Mad to use push fit pipes at city water pressure
Is there a system similar to that one so that you don’t have to change the
filter but once a year?
What’s the longevity on the seals in those push fittings? I may be
old-fashioned, but I try to make any job I do outlast me. I hate doing
things twice. Also, it looked like the geometry of some of those joints
was out of square. Wouldn’t that affect the sealing?
What ? He didn’t have to call the city to turn the water off and on ?
What’s the world coming to.
Some info about those sharkbite push-fittings. They’re certified to 200 PSI
& 200 degrees F and approved for underground use as well. They also have a
25 year warranty when installed correctly.
