WOW Beau…you just helped me out on a bunch of questions I’ve had. Now I
know how to use my continuity light tester AND how to install a car cd
player. I wasn’t sure if I would need so kind of metal bracket to hold the
player in the dash but it looks like just tweaking those security tabs will
do it! I’m putting the exact same player into my 1985 rv that had a dead
player in it. You gave me the courage to try. Thanks! Great work!!!

i was wondering how i would install a cd player on a custom box on my low
rider trike just with a little battery do i need to buy a extra wire
harness or just use the wires on the cd player to hook it up

Beau, i’ll tell you how awesome you are once you have a solution to my
problem. I have a 97 Chevy Malibu. Ive been trying to install a Dual
XDMA450 deck in it and it just will not power up. ive checked the fuse and
thats good. The ground wire is running from the inline harness. Ive tried
bypassing the power just to the battery and I am not getting power. The
fuse for the deck itself is good. Can you pretty please tell me what the
deal is?

i have done everything as directed…but for some reason it doesn’t
work…doesn’t even light up…and when i put the original radio back in,
it doesn’t work either…the radio fuse in the car AND the new stereo are
fine…any ideas? thanks so much.

Right on brother. After I commented, I just cut the car harness plug off
and wired it up that way. but I had to run an auxiliary wired from the
positive battery to power the unit up. So I cut the wire and wired up a
simple on off switch so Its easy to shut off when Im done driving
