I love the technical approach man. It would be cool to eventually see some videos where you analyze the mechanics of some other supercars/sportscars…just a thought!

I’ve gone a couple of rounds with my carbon fiber wing and can appreciate these issues. Very nice job fixing it! It does look 100 times better with the wing, IMO. Good perspective on form versus function.

Great video!

I plan to add a SL wing on my LP 560-4. I think it adds to the look and completes the rear end. I will certainly open/close the engine bonnet with great care. Very interesting vid.. Thx….

Is the black "bar" on the front running between the vents just vinyl or did they paint it? I would like to see more detail on that as I was thinking about doing that to the front of my Gallardo too. Thanks…

ATOM says:

Awesome detail and content as usual! Very interesting stuff.

Tanel Rebane says:

Indeed, the high wing looks great! Didn't even know this was an issue, so I watched with great interest!

Superb video on your rear wing….Well taken

It's about style! Go to any Cars and Coffee and you'll see tons of "Basket Handles" on Japanese Import vehicles; second only to a set of stanced wheels! It would be expected that a wing would actually do something functional on your Lamborghini but in this case I think it's more form first. Love your new wall graphics.

Really nice and detailled video as usual, thank you for sharing! Cheers

Hello again, How about a stainless steel round washer on the inside of the strut base (wider distribution for the downward exerted forces/pressures). On mine I installed a aventador wing and mounted it directly to the existing stock wing, which I had to strengthen so I can directly relate to your problem. Now both wings are active. It looks awesome in motion. I am at the stage of manipulating the software for the initial response to be sooner than 70 mph and the existing mechanical hardware to get a longer and higher range of motion. Well great video again, and I'll talk to you soon

Loved this repair technique. I don't have this problem with my Lambo but never thought to check. Thanks. Great video again!

It's cool to see how that part failed
Nice sign!!

Cathryn Mataga says:

Looks like you caught that just before it became a real problem.
