I wouldn’t warranty it, It’s just adulting 101 you have a car check your oil periodically top it off when needed. Kia’s engines are mostly gdi engines which tend to burn/get diluted from the fuel that isn’t burnt completely. I have a 2017 accord I always change the oil at 3000k mile intervals and every 1000-2000 miles I top it off because the newer k24w has direct injection as where my 2014 civic si with a k24z7 is port injected and doesn’t get diluted and doesn’t require me to top it off as much, now that it’s a bit older with over 125k miles I tend to top it off but even then I change the oil every 3k miles just be a good car owner and take care of your car and it will take care of you

No warranty here. An oil level sensor that would go off well before any damage occured would be a nice feature.

@sharifabusharifeh9386 says:

Yes of course! If the engine was built right, it would never burn oil !

I see a defective engine design made by KIA! Standard from KIA. Screw you for not standing with the customer.
A Toyota engine would never run out of oil, it would sludge up after running for 20k miles.
If you say, oh it’s on the customer, they must check their engine oil levels between oil changes, do you live in 1950, KIA knows they have oil consumption problem and they didn’t address it properly, still selling defective engines without oil level sensor to gullible people who struggle to find a good decent daily driver.
