Thanks, I’m not worying that my issue is actually a timing belt. Not sure I

TheKia place will not work on a car if it doesn’t have a kia oil filter
For anyone that cares – changing the timing belt, drive belts &
tensioners/idler pulleys fixed the ticking…something with one of those
was causing it

It sounds like the timing belt.
Can be a bad timing belt tensioner but it will soon go out on you
unexpectedly.
