Many Kia’s and Hyundai’s have this bad design that stretches and will no longer tighten around the positive battery terminal post.
If you recently replaced the battery, or had it replaced and still have starting or other battery issues, you might want to take a closer look at this battery terminal connector. Again, in a pinch, you could probably bend it a little bit to make it work, but replacing it seems to work best.
