My problem after taking all the parts off remembering where they all went and which cables and bolts went where. I know… Leave any major work to the pros. Backyard mechanics should just do basic maintenance.

Although I never thought much of Kia , I will say that all of the small imports like Honda , Nissan , Hyundai , Toyota and the like all share a common theme ; they’re simple . That is the theme you’ve just illustrated here . Basically , you’ve just proved that “ you can do it “ . You took a nice little car that needs an engine and took it through its first step . The next video ( spoiler ) will show and prove to be why it’s feasible and pro efficient to swap in a good engine . Good job .

Glad you did a kia soul i have a 2018 and at 75000 mile the motor went bad cause of a bad computer program i was told anyway got a brand new motor under warranty (under 80000 mile or 8 years old) and it runs like it did new in 2018 but i was just glad it see what it took to do a motor replacement .thanks cause if it wasnt for the warranty i would have had to done it
