Do you just hook up the hose right onto the PCV valve? Or do you remove the PCV valve for this?

My CAT went out at 100,000 miles, not covered, $2000 repair. Accent 1.6L GDI engine.

Volkan Kaymak says:

Hi

What does this setup do?

Which engine types are used?

What problem caused the need to take such an action.

I would be glad if you answer.

Farmin Matts says:

I know this is a bit of an old video but you should look into a baffled Oil catch can. The inlet should drain below the baffling which traps the oil, and the outlet pulls clean air from above the baffling. That steel wool type media stuff just floating around in there isn’t gonna do a whole lot in filtering the contaminants from the air.

Jacob O’Brien says:

I have an Accent with the same engine. Do you actually know whether carbon was building up to problem causing levels on the intake valves? I'm tossing up whether to install a catch can but I was under the impression that these engines aren't too badly affected with this issue like many others. I have seen some nearing 200k miles without catch cans which makes me wonder if they are quite immune

Did you add an additional seal to the product?

hi

Did you attach the black plate directly?
How do I make it?

How many wire mesh have you put on the entrance side?

Is it still used well now?

Any ideas on where I might be able to find the kit number for the following kits.

Keyless entry
Push button start (keyless entry version)
Remote start (keyless version)

Thanks..

I have been to the dealership and they claim it's not possible to give out part numbers, but I've heard I. The USA you're allowed to install OEM kits from dealers.

Thanks.
