I looked up the part number I’m trying to figure out what does this part have to do with an electrical start issue even if that part odd bad your car would turn over and stuff just not get fuel so it would run rough or cut off and stuff

I’m having this problem with my wife’s car. Battery good alt good starter good but most days you get in and it starts just fine then done days nothing no clock or nothing. Someone told me the ignition wire on the starter could be bad cause it’s dealt with so much heat but what is this post under the fuel regulator?

what year and model

@bestbomb17 says:

Part name is cam follower for high pressure fuel pump. Once you relieve fuel pressure, take off both fuel lines and connector, evenly remove both bolts slowly so as not to put too much tension on one side. Pull high pressure fuel pump out then cam follower will be sitting right underneath it…….idk what this video is for other than that, i was looking at something else lol
