How to remove the standard stereo surround and stereo from a Kia C’eed 2

After searching for a guide on how to remove the stereo and coming up with very little, I decided to make my own guide. The car was a Kia Ceed 2 (10 plate).

really bothered about the steering wheel controls 🙂

Behind the whole fascia panel. The aerial is magnetic so it stuck to a
metal part under there. I then cable tied it down for extra security

Great vid, but i have one question. Do you have the code for the radio? I`m
assuming it will lock if i remove it, but i can`t fine the radio code in my
user manual. Thanks. 🙂

David Jensen says:

great vid thanks, this will be usefull later.

Adam Novsarka says:

Thanks. The radio code is different for every unit. If you are unable to
locate it, you will need to contact your local dealership. They normally
charge £20 or so to request your code. I was not asked to input the radio
code when this stereo was removed on several occasions

Shailesh Patel says:

Can you please tell me how to open radio in kia carnival 2003?

Miha Peternelj says:

Can you please tell me which radio did you install? How about sterring
wheel commands – are they still working? You are telling about flip out
screen – how does it look when the screen is not out?

Adam Novsarka says:
