The way you take that first panel is almost comical to me based on what it takes to do it in reality. You either had that off of there and put it partially back on for the video or the clips for it were broken. The 2005 has 2 screws on the top of the back of the console that have to be removed. The triggers on my connectors on the top of the back panel all broke when gently taking them off.

Also, you must have a pretty big budget to pay Michael Douglas to narrate this.

The 2004 Kia Amanti Infinty stereo system is a total POS GARBAGE. Causes more electrical issues than it should. ALL KIA products and their cars basically SUCK as well. Too much electrical bullshit problems and fake ass codes to waste your time (or you mechanic's time) trying to figure out shit when it could be just a simple electronic CHIP PROBLEM instead. One CHIP goes bad it tells the mechanic all the problems that you really don't have and wastes time & money when it's just a faulty electronic chip. Had this bullshit happen MANY TIMES. with my Kia Amanti that I wish I never bought. Infinity is a CHEAP ASS STEREO to go along with this cheap ass car. Like Chrysler, they make the car look nice and make it seem :"luxury" and all, but when it comes down to it the car ends up being a CONSTANTLY fix & repair unnecessary shit POS. I will NEVER buy a KIA EVER again!

Do one of those connectors completely disable the CD player? Mines jammed and the CD player lights stay on no matter what and drains my battery

I have no power to my radio but the fuses are fine any suggestions before I just start tearing stuff out?

Josh Baldwin says:

Moving the Shifter Knob to a lower gear isn't necessary! I did it with absolute ease without moving it from park. Also, this way none of the electronics or accessories are plugged in.
Now, I have a problem….. My car's battery is drained, I'm assuming due to a faulty accessory wire. There's static coming from the speakers even when the keys aren't even plugged in. This has led to a dead battery that won't even jump-start 🙁 one of the side effects is also when driving or first starting up the car, unless I turn the radio just off, the speakers have an extremely loud, scratchy, static sound, even when the station(or cd/tape) is perfectly fine. Any suggestions?
